Good News | UNI-STAR secures multiple honors.

UNI-STAR was recently awarded the "2023 Excellent Online Game Enterprise" and other honours at the 2023 Guangdong Game Industry Annual Conference and the Guangzhou Game Industry 2023 Escort Industry Development Seminar for its outstanding operational capability and contribution to public welfare in the field of digital culture and creativity.

Outstanding Online Game Company of the Year 2023

On 23 January 2024, the Guangdong Game Industry 2023 Annual Conference was successfully held in Guangzhou under the guidance of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Guangdong Provincial Press and Publication Bureau, and hosted by the Guangdong Game Industry Association. UNI-STAR was awarded the "2023 Outstanding Online Game Enterprise" at the conference, and was also honoured as the leading unit of the Guangdong Game Industry Association, and selected as the "2023 Guangdong Game Enterprise Social Responsibility Outstanding Cases", which was displayed on the spot.

UNI-STAR was awarded the "Guangdong Game Industry Association Government Unit".

At the meeting, Ms Lu Xiaokun, Executive Director of the Guangdong Game Industry Association, released the "2023 Guangdong Game Industry Report". She pointed out that in 2023, Guangdong's game revenue reached RMB 245.08 billion, with an annual growth rate of 15.8%, which is higher than the national growth rate, and Guangdong's game output value accounted for 80.9% of the country.

Guangdong Game Industry Association is the only provincial game association in Guangdong Province, and also an authoritative and influential social organisation in the industry. In November 2023, UNI-STAR was elected as a director unit of the association, which is not only a high recognition of UNI-STAR's deep ploughing in the industry and steady progress over the years, but also an affirmation of UNI-STAR as a leading enterprise to promote the industry to achieve high-quality development.

UNI-STAR was selected as one of the 2023 Outstanding Cases of Social Responsibility of Guangdong Game Enterprises.

UNI-STAR always pays attention to social issues and actively fulfils its social responsibility to contribute to the harmonious and sustainable development of society, while continuously penetrating the mobile game market at home and abroad. It has launched a series of public welfare projects such as the "Youth Network Literacy Cultivation" special project, "ChengXin Aid-Farmer Charity Program" and "Star Table Tennis Rural Journey". UNI-STAR was selected as one of the "2023 Guangdong Outstanding Cases of Social Responsibility of Game Enterprises" for insisting on the unity of the value of the online game industry and the value of society, and for actively exploring new ways of practising social responsibility in the game industry.

Cultivating Net Literacy and Protecting the Healthy Development of Minors

On 25 January, "Diversified Integration, Breaking through Boundaries", a seminar on the development of Guangzhou's game industry in 2023, was held in Guangzhou. UNI-STAR won the "Enterprising Enterprise of the Year" award for its high growth and strong innovation in the field of digital culture and creativity.

Since the implementation of the Minors' Network Protection Regulations, the government, schools, families and companies have strengthened their cooperation and networking to jointly build a good ecosystem for minors' network literacy education.

It is worth mentioning that this seminar specially set up a session on "Cultivating Game Literacy and Protecting the Healthy Growth of Minors", and invited game scientist and master tutor of North Normal University, Liu Mengfei, to release the "Game Literacy Action Guidelines" on the spot and give a keynote speech on "Game Parenting": The positive value of constructive game development". Liu Mengfei, a game researcher and master tutor at Beida Normal University, was invited to release the Game Literacy Action Guidelines and give a speech on "Game Parenting: Constructive development of positive values of games".

This time, UNI-STAR received a series of awards from the Guangdong Game Industry Association and the Guangzhou Game Industry Association, which represents the industry's affirmation of UNI-STAR's comprehensive strength, operational capability and development potential.
