On 6 August, the "Yangcheng eJia" Network Governance and Development Symposium was successfully held as part of the activities of the Guangzhou Internet+New Economy Academic Conference. At the meeting, UNI-STAR was awarded the "Guangzhou Minors' Network Ecological Governance Base Practice Base" by Guangzhou Municipal Committee Net Information Office for its solid work in protecting minors' network security and cultivating network literacy.

The protection of minors on the Internet is a systematic project that requires the joint efforts of all parties. With the advent of the digital era, the Internet has been fully integrated into minors' studies and lives, and the protection of minors' network security has become a common issue facing the whole society. In recent years, Guangzhou has continued to carry out the "Protect the Seedlings" campaign, created the "Protect the Seedlings" brand, established the "Protect the Seedlings" educational base, and achieved concrete results in the "Protect the Seedlings" special campaign. The special action "Protect the Seedlings" has achieved tangible results.
In order to further strengthen the minors network ecological governance theory and practice research, make full use of social resources, promote the minors network ecological governance work in-depth development, "Guangzhou minors network ecological governance practice base" was established. At the meeting, Shen Zhiping, director of the Policy, Law and Network Law Enforcement Department of the Internet Information Office of the Guangzhou Municipal Commission, and Yang Xiaohong, executive director of the base, jointly awarded plaques to the practice bases of UNI-STAR, Tencent QQ and Sanqi Hootsuite.
The person in charge of UNI-STAR said that minors are the hope of the nation and the future of the country, and it is the common responsibility of the whole society to create a good environment for them to grow up. UNI-STAR has always taken the protection of minors as the principle and bottom line, and has been researching and innovating in the areas of game content environment, anti-sedimentation, public welfare practice, network literacy, etc., to effectively ensure the safety of minors when they come into contact with the Internet.
Previously, Guangzhou Minors' Network Ecological Governance Base Work Promotion and Guangzhou Minors' Network Ecological Governance Excellent Cases Review Workshop was held on 25 July, UNI-STAR was shortlisted as Guangzhou Minors' Network Ecological Governance Excellent Cases. UNI-STAR has explored a multi-party linkage, online and offline two-pronged path for the protection of minors around the issue of protection of minors.

As a practice base of ecological network governance for minors, UNI-STAR will continue to focus on network safety protection for minors, vigorously explore constructive solutions for network safety protection for minors, and cooperate with all parties in society to build common governance, so as to weave a dense network of network safety protection for minors.
