On 7-8 November, the 2024 Greater Bay Area Cybersecurity Conference and the 26th Huacheng Academician Science and Technology Conference were officially opened at the Guangzhou Changlong International Convention and Exhibition Centre with Shen Changxiang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Fang Binxing, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Yang Yang, President of the Guangzhou Computer Network Security Association, and Lin Difu, Executive President of the Guangzhou Computer Network Security Association, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Yang Yang, President of the Guangdong Computer Information Network Security Association, and Lin Difu, Executive President of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation and Promotion Association of Guangdong Province, among other leaders. UNI-STAR was invited to attend the conference.

The 2024 Greater Bay Area Cybersecurity Conference is led by Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, Guangdong Provincial Government Services and Data Administration Bureau, hosted by Guangdong Computer Information Network Security Association and co-hosted by Guangdong Association for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Co-operation. With the theme "Building Network Security Dialogue for Digital Future", the conference focused on hot topics such as information technology application innovation, artificial intelligence attack, defence and confrontation technology, and network ecological governance of minors, and comprehensively demonstrated the latest achievements and future trends of network security technology through a series of industry forums and keynote speeches.
In recent years, China's network security policy and regulation system has been improved, the network security work system and mechanism has been improved, and the construction of network security system and capacity has been accelerated, which provides a solid guarantee for safeguarding the country's sovereignty, security and development interests in cyberspace.
UNI-STAR always follows the pace of national policies and regulations, continuously strengthens network and information security management, orderly promotes the construction of network and information security system, and makes every effort to safeguard the information security of enterprise network and users. At the management level, UNI-STAR has set up an information security team and established a comprehensive and strict network security and data management system. With regard to data security, it has also set up a Data Security Management Committee, which is specifically responsible for data security management and personal information protection mechanisms, and promotes the implementation of internal systems.
UNI-STAR has also developed a series of systems, such as the Page Eco Filtering System and the Undesirable Online Social Behaviour Inspection System, to use artificial intelligence, big data and other technological means to inspect game content 24 hours a day and quickly detect, analyse and remove harmful information, thus contributing to the creation of a clear cyberspace.
In terms of protecting minors on the Internet, UNI-STAR has explored a multi-party, online and offline two-pronged way to protect minors, and has done solid work on building a clear cyberspace and cultivating young people's network literacy. Through the "UNI-STAR Public Welfare Classroom", parents and children learn about network literacy and improve their network literacy skills at the same time in the form of family-like interactive exchanges.

In the future, UNI-STAR will increase its investment in research and development of cybersecurity technologies, build a cybersecurity system, improve cybersecurity protection capabilities, and guard the door of cybersecurity. At the same time, UNI-STAR will continue to explore constructive solutions to protect minors' networks and work with all parties in society to build network security barriers and create a "clear digital sky" for minors.
