Stepping into Dingnan, where the scent of navel oranges float in the air, the various orchards are bustling as farmers are busy harvesting the fruit. On December 17, UNI-STAR initiated the ChengXin Aid-Farmer Charity Program in Changfu Village, Longtang Town, Dingnan County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. The purpose of the program is to promote farmers' income increase through consumer support and charity training in e-commerce, and to work "with the same stars for common wealth."

Relying on the characteristics of thin skin, large flesh, crispy and sweet juice, Gannan navel oranges have repeatedly won the titles of "China's famous fruit" and "National Geographic Indication Protected Product". Thanks to its unique geographical latitude and longitude, acidic soil rich in selenium and other advantageous natural conditions, Dingnan County has become one of the main production areas for Gannan navel oranges. In recent years, Dingnan County has vigorously supported the development of the Gannan navel orange industry, focusing on the goal of "Prosperous people through fruit" and the high-quality development position of the whole navel orange industry chain.

As the local people introduced, the National Selenium-rich Navel Orange Planting Base located in Dingnan, the MengJiangNan Navel Orange Planting Base, has a technical cooperation with China Agricultural University. On the basis of the original Gannan navel orange, through biological transformation, Gannan navel orange was transformed into "Selenium-rich Navel Orange", further enhancing the dietary function of navel oranges, with remarkable antioxidant function.

At the event, the person in charge of UNI-STAR's Aid-Farmer Program expressed that the program focuses on high-quality agricultural products in remote areas. They hope to create a diversified assistance system through consumer support, public welfare live-streaming training, and other measures, which not only help farmers solve the problem of sales channels but also allow more high-quality agricultural products to reach out of the mountains.

With the rapid development of the Internet, cold chain logistics, and the prevalence of mobile terminals, e-commerce has become an important channel for connecting production and sales of agricultural products. Although the industry threshold is not high, it is not easy for "new farmers" to quickly become "new marketers".

To guide local farmers to keep up with the new era of the Internet of Everything and get more agricultural products onto the high-speed train of the digital economy, UNI-STAR specially conducted live-stream commercial public welfare training. The instructors at the scene explained the "construction of live-stream commercial systems", covering basic knowledge of live-stream commerce, live-streaming skills, product promotion and other aspects.

Apart from theoretical teaching, UNI-STAR also set up a live broadcast room in the orchard, allowing farmers to directly apply live broadcast theory knowledge, operate live broadcast equipment by their own hands. By combining "theory + practice", the training aims to improve the overall live product promotion skills of the farmers.

This time in Dingnan, UNI-STAR plans to purchase tens of thousands of kilograms of "selenium-rich navel oranges" from Ganzhou, directly helping local farmers increase their income. It is understood that UNI-STAR will continue to use its own platform to continue to act as a spokesperson for Ganzhou's Selenium-rich Navel Orange, continuously promoting the sale of local agricultural products, further advertising the Dingnan brand, thus bringing greater economic benefits.
