On 25 May, a special exhibition was held at the Guangzhou Minors' Network Ecological Governance Base. It was the official opening of the Guangzhou Minors' Network Ecological Governance Achievement Exhibition and Network Literacy Education Public Welfare Activity. UNI-STAR was invited to participate in the exhibition and the seminar on 'Youth Network Literacy Education'.

Since the "Regulations on the Protection of Minors' Networks" came into force on January 1 this year, all relevant units and social organisations in Guangzhou have strengthened the protection of minors' network information and social networks. The exhibition aims to showcase the achievements of various sectors in Guangzhou in the field of protection of minors' networks, further enhance public awareness of the protection of minors' networks, and stimulate cooperation among all sectors of society to strengthen the ecological management of the network.

With multi-party cooperation, the protection of minors has entered a new stage.

Stepping into the exhibition site of the achievement exhibition, there are four thematic areas, namely, network ecological governance, network literacy education, rule of law construction, personal information protection and anti-obsession, and each thematic area is equipped with a special multi-functional interactive space, which can diversify and interactively display the efforts and achievements of all parties to the public.

In addition, the exhibition also opened a series of "minors network literacy education" seminars, Guangzhou minors network ecological governance base directed to invite government departments, industry associations, enterprises, schools and other representatives to talk about improving youth network literacy to build a clear cyberspace.

At the seminar, youth representatives from nearly 10 primary and secondary schools in various districts of Guangzhou talked about "What are the dangers for youth in the network world? How can we use the Internet to learn and grow better? They expressed their views on topics such as "What are the dangers of the Internet world for young people? UNI-STAR, as a representative of the company, responded to the questions and opinions of the youth representatives and shared its own experience in network literacy education and ecological governance of cyberspace.

Internal and external training, UNI-STAR creates a new model of underage protection.

In recent years, the government has paid increasing attention to the development of the social responsibility of online game companies, and is particularly concerned about the protection of minors. Online game companies have responded positively to the policy and strengthened the protection of minors, and through independent research, they have carried out a large number of useful practices and gradually established systematic measures for the protection of minors.

The representative of UNI-STAR said, "UNI-STAR has always taken the protection of minors as a key promotion project and actively shouldered the heavy burden of protecting the safety of minors on the Internet. On the issue of protecting minors, we have explored a path of unprotection with multi-party linkage and dual-pronged online and offline measures to protect the happy digital childhood of the youth.

UNI-STAR representatives answered the students' questions one by one.

Specifically, online, UNI-STAR's products are all connected to the national unified real-name authentication system, and artificial intelligence, big data models and other technical means to create the 'UNI-STAR Anti-Obsession Management System' to guide the behaviour of game players. Offline, the company has set up a working group for minors in charge of developing anti-obsession products, educating minors on internet safety and handling disputes, and has systematically built a working mechanism for unprotected games.

When talking about the multi-party linkage to carry out the work of UNI-STAR, the person in charge of UNI-STAR stressed that "the family is the first line of defence of the youth protection network, and it is also an important position for the education of minors' network literacy. Under this concept, UNI-STAR launched the "UNI-STAR Youth Protection Classroom" special action, which focuses on improving cyber-civic literacy, cultivating healthy and safe cyber-behaviour, and preventing cyber-addiction. In January this year, the "UNI-STAR Guardians of Youth Public Welfare Class" entered the Chengdu Municipal Culture Hall, and will successively conduct family-based science popularisation, education and guidance activities.

Under the wave of the high-speed development of the Internet, minors are changing from "guardians" to important participants in the digital age. As the first municipal cyber ecological governance base for minors in China, the Guangzhou Cyber Ecological Governance Base for Minors has actively played a leading role in linking resources from families, schools and society to carry out a series of brand activities for the protection of minors. In the future, UNI-STAR will work closely with the Guangzhou Minors' Network Ecology Governance Base and other parties to create a clearer cyberspace for minors, so that young people can touch the Internet under the sun and grow up under care.
